Safe Steps Family Violence Response Centre is the Victorian State-wide service for
women experiencing violence and abuse from a partner or ex-partner, another family member or someone else they are close to.

The following services are located in the eastern metropolitan region and provide both a state-wide and regional crisis response to women and children living with violence:
 
•    Kara House
•    Safe Futures Foundation
•    Women’s Liberation Halfway House  
    

The present scope of support includes:

  • complex crisis case management
  • 24/7 after-hours outreach
  • support for Same Sex Attracted, Transgender & Intersex persons 
  • intensive case management
  • specialist children’s case management 
  • A Place to Call Home and Safe at Home programs 
  • responses to women living with a disability

Referrals to these services are made through the state-wide service, Safe Steps on 1800 015 188, or in the eastern metropolitan region through EDVOS on 03 9259 4200.
 

ECASA provides services to women, men, children and young people who are victims/survivors of recent or past sexual assault. The service is also available to non-offending family members, partners and friends.

EDVOS is the primary specialist family violence service for women and their children who work in the eastern metropolitan region, who are currently living with or have experienced family and domestic violence.
